Jared Fingler

Jared believes strong fundraising begins with real relationships, clear strategy, and a shared vision that people want to be part of.

Originally from Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, Jared earned his Bachelor of Commerce from the Edwards School of Business at the University of Saskatchewan and holds his Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation. Before joining DCG, he worked with United Way of Saskatoon & Area and the University of Saskatchewan’s College of Medicine, supporting initiatives spanning community impact, education, health care, donor engagement, and annual giving.

That experience shaped how Jared approaches fundraising today: pairing a good idea with the right strategy, then finding the stories that bring stakeholders together. He is most energized by the moments when an organization’s goals and a donor’s values click into place, and by the trust that turns individual supporters into a community moving in the same direction.

Outside of work, Jared enjoys watching sports, diving into creative projects, and finding local adventures with his wife and daughter. Whether following a big game, bringing an idea to life, or exploring something new close to home, he looks for experiences that are fun, memorable, and shared with the right people.
